The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (MIT CTL) and members from the 50+ Partner companies that belong to the MIT CTL Supply Chain Exchange convene to assess the state of supply chain management. MIT CTL will provide our Partners with insight into our latest research and development activities. We will solicit input from Supply Chain Exchange partners on future plans for the Center. This will be a virtual meeting to share updates about MIT CTL and give our partners an opportunity to share how we can best serve them in the coming year.
Dr. Christopher Mejía Argueta will discuss the status quo of supply chain designs in the food and retail sectors, analyze the challenges that the COVID-19 crisis has brought to food and retail supply chains, and introduce a few supply chain strategies and models based on his research in the U.S. and in other countries that aim to face those challenges in the time to come.
