On Wednesday, March 26, the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (MIT CTL) will convene members from the 40+ Partner companies that are members of the MIT CTL Supply Chain Exchange. The intention of this annual partner meeting is to provide our Partners with an update on the latest research and development activities at MIT CTL, and allow us to solicit input from our Partners on future plans for the Center.

The first annual Crossroads conference took place 10 years ago to explore the intersection between supply chain strategy and corporate strategy. Since then we have witnessed a decade of incredible change. Attendees at the inaugural Crossroads conference had never heard of iPhones, Twitter, or 3D printing. The next 10 years promise to be just as dynamic. We are at the beginning of new advances in data analytics, manufacturing technology, materials science, and robotics, and many other technologies that will likely have a profound impact on supply chain management (SCM).

On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, in the MIT Media Lab (75 Amherst Street, Building E14, Floor 6), the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics will host a Research Expo for over 110 supply chain master's students from the MIT Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network as they showcase their company-sponsored thesis projects from companies such as BASF, BNSF Railway, C.H. Robinson, Coyote Logistics, Dow AgroSciences, General Mills, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Niagara Bottling, Ralph Lauren, Schlumberger, and many more!

On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics will host the Annual SC Talent Management Forum for HR and SC Executives on the MIT campus. The SC HR Forum will be immediately followed by the MIT SCALE Network Research Expo - student thesis research project midstream reviews. After the Expo, there will be a networking event where companies will be able to discuss supply chain career opportunities with the students.
