Professor Geoff Boeing - Creator of OSMnx

MIT CTL's Matthias Winkenbach welcomes Prof. Geoff Boeing from Northeastern University to give a guest lecture for our SCM Urban Last-Mile Logistics course. Professor Boeing is an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University’s School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, which he joined after his time as a Ph.D. student and then Postdoctorate at Berkeley. He is the creator of one of the most relevant tools for spatial data and network analytics available today, the Python package OSMnx. He will be providing an overview of his work on urban planning from a networks perspective.  Note: This is a classroom guest speaker. This event is not open to the public.
