Our next session will feature a very special guest, MIT School of Engineering Associate Dean Anette "Peko" Hosoi who will give a briefing on her COVID-19 research. Prof. Hosoi's technical talk will examine the key factors for spreading and controlling COVID, and this research has been instrumental in guiding MIT’s decisions to reopen and how to do so while minimizing the risks of COVID-19 spread. Her models and explanation make it clear how one should set the amount of testing and the role of masks and social distancing.
