Shraddha Rana is a PhD candidate in the Interdepartmental Transportation Program at MIT. She works as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Freight Lab at CTL. Her research is focused on modeling the effects of unplanned disruptions in freight transportation as well as creating frameworks of mitigation strategies for government agencies and stakeholders.

Shraddha received her Bachelor in Technology in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and her Master of Science in Transportation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her Master's Thesis focused on short term forecasting of the truckload spot market using time series modeling, neural networks, and concept drift detection and handling.
