Roger Lloret-Batlle is an Assistant Professor at Ningbo (China) Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (NISCI) belonging to MIT Global SCALE Network. His main research interests are market design for transportation and logistics operations, and he is also interested in container terminal operations.
Roger Lloret-Batlle was an Algorithm Engineer at DiDi Smart Transportation in Beijing, China. There, he worked on the development and implementation of adaptive traffic signal control and traffic state estimation technologies with connected vehicle data in addition to coordinating the international expansion of the business. He obtained my PhD in Transportation Engineering from University of California, Irvine. My dissertation developed a novel operational paradigm: decentralizing the consumption of transportation supply to the users of transportation systems.
