The Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL) is a values-led organization within MIT. Retirement Benefits
MIT is one of a handful of employers that still offers a pension plan. MIT's Basic Pension Plan is designed to provide a lifetime monthly income during retirement. MIT will automatically begin contributing after one year and you'll be fully vested after three years; at no cost to you!
Through the MIT 401K Plan, administered through Fidelity Investments; you'll be able to save for retirement and be matched by MIT 5% match when you also contribute from your pay.
