Analytics of the Future Robotic Process Automation Event Card

On October 16, the Supply Chain Exchange will host a Virtual Roundtable on the topic of Analytics of the Future: Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This virtual roundtable will be the first of a series of three events focused on the future of analytics specifically as how it applies in the supply chain domain. In the roundtable, the focus will be on the application of the data in analytic models using Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

The roundtable will be a 2-hour session for sharing progress applying RPA in the supply chain domain—highlighting (but not limited to) primary applications in planning, logistics and procurement.

The subsequent sessions in the series will focus on Predictive Analytics and Prescriptive Analytics. This series represents a continuation of facilitated exchanges and roundtables exploring different aspects of Machine Learning and how it applies to the supply chain. In our last in-person SC Exchange roundtable on this topic, we explored the challenges of acquiring, preparing and managing the right data as well as the work needed to turn data into the fuel that will run machine learning models effectively and efficiently.

Other earlier events penetrated the topic:

Each session will start with a short briefing from an MIT researcher to level-set the topic, followed by a specific example highlighting the industrial application, and then a facilitated, open discussion between all roundtable attendees. Through these sessions, we intend to understand the current practice and challenges, as well as explore what may be expected for the future of analytics and automation.

Please note, CTL roundtables are open exclusively to Supply Chain Exchange members.
