Should Colombia develop a logistics cluster? This will be the central theme of the ANDI 71th National Assembly, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, August 13, 2015.
MIT CTL Director Professor Yossi Sheffi will participate in the discussions, and give a presentation based on his book Logistics Clusters: Delivering Value and Driving Growth. His participation is being jointly coordinated by MIT CTL and Bogota, Colombia-based LOGYCA.
The conference will focus on successful examples of logistics clusters around the world, and the economic and social benefits that these entities bring to their regions and countries. About 1,000 director-level executives from Colombian companies are expected to attend the event.
