The line-up is complete for the Hot Topics session on disruptive demographics organized by the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (MIT-CTL) for the Council of Supply Management Professionals (CSCMP) annual conference in Philadelphia in October.
The session will include two presentations - from Kevin Smith, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Logistics, CVS/pharmacy, and Dale Lewis, a labor specialist at rail road CSX Transportation. Lewis and Smith will be joined later for a panel session that will also include: Joe Coughlin, head of AgeLab, a unit of MIT-CTL; Brian McNamara, chairman, Material Handling Industry of America; Dexter W. Shurney, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Healthways, Inc.; and MIT-CTL’s Ken Cottrill, who will be the moderator.
Joe Coughlin will set the scene for the afternoon Hot Topics session during a Major Session he will deliver in the morning titled “New Markets for Old Age – How Disruptive Demographics will Transform Businesses”. Both sessions take place on Tuesday, October 23, 2007.
