The future of supply chain management will be a central theme of the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics’ executive education course in January 2007. Presentations by industry thought leader Bill Copacino and expert on the future of work MIT Professor Tom Malone, as well as unique scenario planning exercises, will give attendees a glimpse of the future shape of supply chains.
Taught by CTL’s world-class team of prominent MIT faculty and researchers, the three-day course will utilize the Center’s global research on industry-leading supply chain practices and on the future challenges managers should be prepared to face. It is the latest in a series of courses that has gained wide recognition as the industry’s most forward-thinking educational offerings. "This course covered a diverse but rich spectrum of topics from resilience to RFID," said past attendee Christian Scheeren, Avarto Technology.
