Supply Chain Frontiers issue #58
MIT CTL will host a workshop on supply chain finance and resilience roundtable on October 27 and 28, 2015 respectively at MIT.
The Supply Chain Finance Workshop will focus on how supply chain actions affect the income statement and balance sheet – two key financial statements – and how supply chain managers can explain their decisions in the language of finance. Participants will engage in exercises that require them to make critical investments in working capital, focusing on inventory, capital operating equipment, payables, and receivables.
At the Quantifying Resilience Roundtable, attending supply chain professionals will share their experiences in quantifying resilience as well as their decision-making methods in this vital area of risk management.
For more information on both events contact Katie Date, MIT CTL Coordinator of Corporate Outreach at datecl@mit.edu.
