Dr. Shardul Phadnis has joined the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI) as an Assistant Professor.
His research falls in the area of strategic decision making and long-range planning. Recent projects involved the development of a long-range planning process for the U.S. freight transportation infrastructure and the use of scenarios for formulating corporate supply chain strategies.
Phadnis holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Before starting his doctoral studies, he worked in manufacturing for seven years, where he developed and led the Lean/Continuous Improvement program at a design-to-manufacture firm.
