Supply Chain Frontiers issue #39

MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (MIT CTL) Director, Professor Yossi Sheffi, is to receive the Doctor Honoris Causa distinction of the University of Zaragoza, Spain.

The honorary degree is being awarded in recognition of Sheffi’s distinguished career as a thought leader and academic in the supply chain field. He was instrumental in creating the Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC), Zaragoza, Spain. ZLC has become one of Europe’s leading centers for supply chain education and research. Sheffi is scheduled to officially receive the honor in February 2011.
