Sustainable Supply Chains - Seventh Generation's Approach to Green Supply Chains. Jim Barch, Director of Research and Development at Seventh Generation. Summary: As a leading maker of green cleaning and personal care products Seventh Generations wants their products to make a difference—from their development through to their production, purchase, use, and disposal. Seventh Generation is constantly evaluating how to reduce their environmental impact, increase performance and safety, and create a more sustainable supply chain. As a part of this mission, Seventh Generation confronts an ongoing need to find suppliers that meet its quality and sustainability standards, to push for and track improvements, and to foster deep innovation. Jim will talk about how Seventh Generation does business differently when it comes to their supply chain and initiatives that both help to run an efficient supply chain while minimizing their social and environmental impact.
Talk is from 12-1pm. A complimentary lunch will be served at 11:45am. No registration necessary.
