Supply Chain Risk Management in 2024

Webinar Description: The changing geopolitical landscape between the US and China combined with the supply shocks of 2021 created a tremendous focus on supply chain risk management and resilience by supply chain management professionals. With disruption and risk fresh on their minds, many organizations invested heavily in strategies to reduce risk. As time has passed, the priorities of supply chain professionals have evolved to focus on the more present business challenges. This has moved risk management down the priority list and changed the lens that investments in risk management strategies are viewed through. During this webinar we review how risk management initiatives have evolved over the past 3 years and where they stand in terms of todays priorities for supply chain management professionals. 

Guest Speaker Bio: Jimmy Rose is the Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing at Tempur Sealy International. Responsible for teams which source direct materials supporting 26 manufacturing facilities across NA and Europe, as well as teams responsible for sourcing finished goods, value engineering program management and sourcing support for new product launch. He has over 25 years of experience in Sales, Operations, Engineering, New Product Development and Sourcing. Jimmy also holds a MASc Supply Chain Management, MIT; MS Sustainable Studies, Lipscomb University; BS Textile Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology.
