The Next Wave: Where Disruption and Innovation Converge. Steve Sensing, President of Global Supply Chain Solutions at Ryder Summary: There has never been a more exciting time to be in logistics. From a heightened regulatory environment, to new technology platforms and sluggish yet uncertain economic growth, new macro trends are changing the way businesses deliver products and services – and making well-managed fleets and supply chains even more critical to business success. At the same time, significant disruptors like the “now economy” are impacting the transportation and logistics industry, making the management of these functions more challenging than ever. Steve Sensing, President of Global Supply Chain Solutions for Ryder System, Inc., will take a deep dive into the biggest disruptors he is seeing today and how Ryder is delivering new and innovative solutions to help customers respond.
