As an alumnus of MIT CTL, you know our Center and the kind of work we do. It impacts the industry and influences the future of supply chain management. Come and see, join the Supply Chain Exchange to be a part of changing the state-of-art supply chain management in your company and worldwide.
The Supply Chain Exchange is the foundation of CTL’s interaction with industry and is made up of 50+ shippers, carriers, retailers and 3PLs. The Exchange serves its members in the following ways:
Facilitated exchange.
Our focus is to facilitate the ‘exchange’ of insights, challenges, learnings, and experiences among our partners and our researchers. We serve this purpose each year when we convene our partners in these events:
- 12 monthly research briefings (virtual)
- 4+ quarterly roundtable meetings (in-person and hybrid)
- 2 student capstone review conferences (in-person and hybrid)
- In addition, we invite partners to join various virtual and in-person research lab briefings and offer deep discounts to attend our Executive Education programs in January and June.
Research Engagement and Insight.
We seek to engage our partners in CTL research by sharing our insights in briefings and 1:1 discussions with our research team. These connections also serve to inspire CTL researchers to explore partner research interests. We do this through events and arranged discussions and meetings between CTL researchers and partners.
Education.
Our events often serve as educational experiences for our partners as we examine and penetrate various key topics in supply chain management. Our bi-annual Executive Education program offers a more structured educational experience for partners. CTL also offers a variety of supply chain educational programs outside of the Exchange - including the SCM graduate degree program, and the MicroMasters Program. Our SCE Partner Portal provides ready access to content explicitly made and exclusively available to our partners.
SCE Partners also enjoy the opportunity to define and fund a Capstone Project focused on a partner supply chain issue.
