Alea Mehler

Alea Mehler is a Technical Associate at the MIT AgeLab. She works as a study coordinator and volunteer recruitment manager. Her efforts contribute to experimental design, analysis, and interpretation of empirical research. She oversees volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and others working with volunteers. Her responsibilities include training and supervision of student research assistants in consenting of research subjects, administering questionnaires, implementing human subject research protocols, and managing IRB (COUHES) compliance. Alea graduated from Wagner College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She earned her MSEM degree at the Tufts Gordon Institute in 2020.
