Abstract

Supply Chain Frontiers issue #48

How is supply chain management (SCM) playing a key role in helping companies to harness market-changing technologies such as cloud computing and high-speed robots? Find out at the 2013 Crossroads conference.

The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics’ (MIT CTL) annual Crossroads conference has become the supply chain community’s most important forum for new ideas. This year it will take place on June 26, 2013, on the MIT campus, Cambridge, MA, USA. The event also marks MIT CTL’s 40th anniversary.

The conference will bring together industry thought leaders to explore how SCM is enabling companies to

  • leverage the cloud,
  •  realize the potential of omni-channel retailing,
  • create high-speed fulfillment systems that feed global distribution networks,
  • integrate procurement to meet the needs of fast-moving markets,
  • prepare companies for the additive manufacturing revolution, and
  • protect against current and emerging supply chain risks.

Seats at the Crossroads conference are always in high demand, so register early.
