Abstract

Supply Chain Frontiers issue #40

The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (MIT CTL) annual conference, Crossroads, will take place on the MIT campus on June 16, 2011. The theme of this year’s event is cutting-edge technologies that will transform supply chains.

The Crossroads 2011: Disruptive Innovations That Will Shape the Future of Supply Chains conference draws on MIT’s unrivaled technological expertise and research resources. MIT faculty members will present the latest research in fields as disparate as energy generation, human behavior, infrastructure design, and robotics. The common denominator is that each research area has the potential to redefine the way supply chains are designed, built, and managed.

The event will help supply chain practitioners to be prepared for changes that will have a profound impact on their profession. No other venue or event can offer this mix of technical and industry expertise.
