Supply Chain Frontiers issue #14. Read all articles in this issue.

Master of Engineering in Logistics (MLOG) 2006 graduate Anne Davidson was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the New England Roundtable (NERT) of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.

By providing recognition and support to students, NERT hopes to foster an interest in a career in supply chain and to enhance their professional development. The organization’s Education Committee works with professors at area colleges and universities to recognize students interested in supply chain who excel academically and programmatically with the scholarship program.

According to NERT, Davidson possesses the rare combination of top-notch intellectual problem solving and people-oriented leadership skills. She has maintained a perfect 5.0 GPA at MIT in the MLOG program.  Her thesis topic, "Performance Metrics within the Humanitarian Supply Chain", required her to work with government and NGO officials from around the world.  She has represented MIT at conferences in Europe and worked directly with the Fritz Institute. NERT said that her ability to work effectively with such a wide range of people is truly amazing, and she is a future supply chain leader.
