The 2006-2007 academic year is off to a flying start. The 2007 classes for the Master of Engineering in Logistics (MLOG) Program at MIT and the Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) Program at the Zaragoza Logistics Center in Spain have a wealth of work experience from many industries and countries as well as diverse educational backgrounds.

The incoming MLOG Class of 2007 consists of 33 students representing 11 countries – with the class almost evenly split between US & International citizens.  They are, on average, 29.5 years old with just under seven years of work experience in a wide range of industries to include: pharmaceuticals, high tech, transportation, IT, military, retail, software, consulting, and manufacturing.

The ZLOG class of 2007 consists of 18 students from 10 countries with nearly equal representation from Europe, Asia, North and South America.  Nearly 50% of the class is female and the majority of students speak Spanish either natively or fluently.  They are, on average, 27 years old with four years of work experience in a variety of industries.

Both MLOG and ZLOG students will now begin their 9-month course of study in supply chain management and logistics, which will consist of challenging coursework, cutting edge research and industry interaction.
