Luis Vasquez is a software developer with the MIT CAVE Lab, where he works on the design, development, and maintenance of the CAVE framework—the core architecture that powers the lab’s interactive visualization tools and applications for industry partners. His work includes implementing new features, fixing bugs, refactoring code, and supporting the ongoing evolution of the framework.

Luis has contributed to the development of CAVE-based applications for data visualization and analysis across a range of real-world contexts, including projects with a large multinational shipping company and a government institution focused on supply chain and logistics operations. He also developed a customizable dashboard architecture that allows users to create and compose multiple KPI charts within CAVE-based applications, enabling more flexible and user-driven analysis.
