The GCLOG program is open to professionals worldwide, with a particular focus on emerging market economies — including Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, and China — as well as professionals seeking to develop business in these regions.
We aim to develop change agents who challenge the status quo and apply practical, research-driven solutions to transportation, logistics, and supply chain challenges in their regions.
Program Format
GCLOG is delivered in a hybrid format that combines:
- Interactive online coursework (synchronous and asynchronous)
- Two three-week residential seminars at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts
- A mentored capstone project advised by MIT researchers and industry subject-matter experts
This structure ensures academic rigor, practical application, and flexibility for working professionals.

Eligibility
• Have a minimum of three years of professional experience
• Hold an undergraduate degree
• Demonstrate proficiency in English
Preferred backgrounds include:
• Supply chain management
• Logistics
• Transportation
• Industrial engineering
• Business administration
• Operations or production management
• Information systems or related fields
Students currently enrolled in master’s programs (MSc, MBA, MEng, etc.) are strongly encouraged to apply. Doctoral candidates and specialized graduate students may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Exceptions may be reviewed individually.
Tuition & Funding
Tuition for the GCLOG class of 2027: US$10,000

**Graduates of the MITx MicroMasters® Program in Supply Chain Management who completed the program within the last three years may:
• Receive a waiver for asynchronous sessions in the first module
• Qualify for a tuition discount

Visa Requirements
Although the program spans several months, only six weeks take place in the United States.
Participants who are not U.S. citizens or from a visa waiver country must secure the appropriate visa through the U.S. Consulate in their home country to attend the July and January residential seminars.
