The 2027 Freight Transportation Roundtable will specifically dive into how artificial intelligence and machine learning are fundamentally transforming freight sourcing and transportation procurement.

For decades, freight procurement operated through static rate contracts generated from, albeit sophisticated, bidding processes. Today, emerging technologies are revolutionizing this landscape. Real-time dynamic pricing algorithms, API-enabled integrations, index-based contracts, and autonomous bidding systems are enabling more agile, data-driven decision-making. These innovations are reshaping traditional relationships—shifting power from periodic negotiations to continuous optimization, fostering transparency, and creating new opportunities for collaboration.

This roundtable brings industry leaders together to share hands-on experiences implementing advanced procurement technologies. Participants will explore dynamic pricing strategies, discuss integration challenges, examine index-based contract models, and debate best practices in algorithmic sourcing. The event positions attendees at the forefront of procurement innovation while building a community of practice around next-generation freight sourcing strategies.
