NINGBO, CHINA, December 13, 2017 - Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China (NSCIIC) received competitive awards at the fifth Tencent Business School Development Forum in Beijing.  The forum is a unique showcase for outstanding business education organizations in China.  NSCIIC took the award for “The Outstanding Business Education Brand”. Several other top universities in China shared the honor with NSCIIC, including Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, and Fudan University.

Unique Learning Experience in Asia, Europe and North America

CAMBRIDGE, U.S.A., NINGBO, CHINA, ZARAGOZA, SPAIN, March 1, 2017 – The MIT Global SCALE (Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence) Network has launched the MIT-Zaragoza-Ningbo Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, or 3C Master’s Program, that gives students a unique opportunity to complete their studies in three continents: Asia, Europe, and North America.

Luxembourg, 15 February 2017 – Registration is open for the new Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management offered by the University of Luxembourg in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with merit-based scholarships introduced for the inaugural cohort of students starting with the winter semester 2017-2018. Registration is open until 1 April 2017.

In October 2015, MIT launched the MITx MicroMasters credential, which enables online learners to take a semester’s worth of master’s-level courses on the edX platform, then complete a master’s degree in a single full semester on campus at MIT.

Six MIT graduate students, one undergraduate, and a recent alumnus have accepted Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards to conduct independent research projects during the coming year. Humanitarian Response Lab alum Emily Gooding graduated from MIT this spring with an MS in technology and policy.

ASHLAND, MA – June 14, 2016 – OnProcess Technology, a global pioneer in service supply chain management and optimization, today announced results of a joint research project with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Supply Chain Management (SCM) Program, which found that by using Internet of Things (IoT) data to predict machine failures, companies can reduce costly inventory stock while improving their ability to meet service levels.

On January 4, 2016, MIT alum Jeff Silver, along with his wife Marianne and two of their sons, visited the Massachusetts of Institute of Technology (MIT) to gift the Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL) with $2.5 million to help fund the Center’s ongoing efforts in supply chain research and education. The gift will be divided into two funds:

September 21, 2015 (Cambridge, MA). The second installment of the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics’ (MIT CTL) ground-breaking online supply chain course, Supply Chain and Logistics Fundamentals, will start on September 30th, 2015. Called Supply Chain Design, the SC2x course is part of the three-part SCx series and will run for 12 consecutive weeks. A year ago MIT CTL opened a new chapter in supply chain education with the launch of its SCx online program.
