Freight transportation has made headlines in recent years as a major supply chain bottleneck and source of unanticipated costs.

In this talk, Dr. Angela Acocella will discuss how such constrained capacity in over-the-road transportation is a cyclical occurrence, its impacts on both shippers and carriers, and what we can learn from it.

Dr. Acocella will present highlights from our research from CTL’s Freight Lab on where the traditional truckload procurement process fails and how expanding the portfolio of freight contracts used could benefit both sides.
