The MIT SCx Supply Chain Bootcamp is only open to MIT MicroMasters in Supply Chain Management program learners who have successfully completed SC1x - Supply Chain Fundamentals as a verified learner online.
MIT SCx Bootcamp
builds on concepts taught in the MITx MicroMasters in SCM online courses. Participants use the tools and analytics learned online to make critical management decisions regarding the supply chain and the business in real-world scenarios. The Bootcamp exposes participants to current and broad-ranging supply chain management challenges. Through simulations, projects, and case studies, "Campers" leave Bootcamp with a greater depth of knowledge and an extended network of professionals.
SC1x - Supply Chain Fundamentals
Learn fundamental concepts for logistics and supply chain management from both analytical and practical perspectives – part of the MITx MicroMasters Credential in Supply Chain Management. You need to have completed and passed SC1x as a verified learner to be eligible for MIT Supply Chain Bootcamp.
MIT Supply Chain Bootcamp and Blended Online Learning
The MIT Supply Chain Bootcamp is a unique blended online and in-person learning experience. To participate in the Bootcamp you must first complete SC1x - Supply Chain Fundamentals online as a verified learner. Once you complete this course with a passing grade of 60% or better, you may apply to the six-day intensive on-campus experience. If you are enrolled and on track to complete SC1x you are welcome to apply.
The CTL.SC1x Supply Chain Fundamentals course provides the foundational skills for supply chain management and logistics. You will learn how to develop and apply analytic tools, approaches, and techniques used in the design and operation of logistics systems and integrated supply chains. You’ll grasp concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory management, transportation management, etc.
Bootcamp instructors will hand-select qualified applicants in order to create a dynamic learning community during the camp. The six-day, intensive, in-person experience at MIT will build upon the skills and knowledge you learned from SC1x. Bootcamp attendees will put the concepts to work just as managers and executives do within the firm. Simulations and collaborative group work at MIT will cement and activate your online learning.
