Katie Date is the Manager of Corporate & SCALE Network Outreach for the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. She is responsible for working with MIT CTL partners in all activities, maintaining and servicing industrial outreach programs, maintaining and enhancing current partner relationships, In her role with the SCALE Network, she is responsible for working with the SCALE network centers to better connect them to research and outreach opportunities. Katie has also been involved in the creation, implementation, and management of several custom executive education courses. She is also the leader of the Women in Supply Chain Initiative which seeks to better understand gender balance in supply chain management. The initiative aims to create knowledge and tools for people interested in creating more gender balance in their organizations.
Katie has over 15 years of experience in building relationships with organizations across many different sectors. Prior to joining MIT, she worked as a recruiting consultant, in training and development and operations. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications, Business, and Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin.
