Isabelle van Schilt is a visiting student at the Megacity Logistics Lab (http://megacitylab.mit.edu) at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics. Her research will focus on sustainable urban mobility in the context of the last mile delivery with the help of optimizations models and data analytics.
Isabelle got her Bachelor in System Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management and is currently doing her master Engineering and Policy Analysis at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. She has a specialization in Transport and Logistics and did a minor in Applied Mathematics. For her national award winning Bachelor thesis (2016), she conducted research on the improvement of a production process of an autoclaved aerated concrete in Mexico. In 2017/2018, she was part of the study association board of Curius dedicating one full time year to the association, the students and education.
