Visiting Scholar

Fabiola Vásquez is a Visiting Scholar at CTL coming from Monterrey Tech Business School. She serves as a researcher at the MIT LIFT Lab and the Sustainability Lab. Her professional and research interests include increasing the survival of micro and small businesses in emerging markets (https://liftlab.mit.edu/), reducing CO2 emissions, and creating strategies and business models to reduce food waste to alleviate food insecurity in emerging countries (https://sustainable.mit.edu/). Her research and papers published are about ecommerce and customer experience.
 
She holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Sciences and Marketing from Monterrey Tech (Mexico) an MSc in Supply Chain and Logistics and a BSc in Industrial Engineering. 
 
She has over 13 years of experience in Data Science, Digital Transformation, Digital Marketing Ecommerce/Omnichannel and Supply Chain. Her professional background is in the retail, consumer product goods, automotive, and health care/pharma industries. In 2022 she was awarded by Mundo Ejecutivo and Salesforce as Ecommerce Best Practices Leader in Mexico. She is a lecturer in business forums related to ecommerce and women in STEM. Her passion is teaching, research, and helping companies drive their business transformation journeys based on sustainability and well-being for the communities they impact.
