Abstract

Supply Chain Frontiers issue #54

The first European Forum of Logistics Clusters will take place on October 14 – 15, 2014, in Brussels, Belgium. The Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC), Zaragoza, Spain, is a member of the Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe that is organizing the event.

Aimed at all stakeholders in the logistics community, the event will explore the role of logistics clusters in six parallel sessions. The sessions will cover the following areas:

  • The success factors for supply chain collaboration
  • Designing smart cities
  • The growth of e-commerce explosion
  • Green investments in supply chains
  • The potential of intermodal transportation
  • Executive education challenges in logistics.

To encourage networking, the event will feature the B2Match area where attendees can meet to exchange ideas. Participants will also have the opportunity to present posters about projects on which they are engaged. Several European logistics regions and clusters will have stands in the exhibition area.

There is no registration fee for the event.
