CEO, GS1 Colombia and LOGyCA Foundation

Rafael Flórez serves as CEO of GS1 Colombia and LOGyCA and is currently managing the launch of the Center for Latin-American Logistics Innovation (CLI), a joint venture between LOGyCA and MIT-CTL. For 20 years, GS1 Colombia and LOGyCA have worked with 17,000+ companies to establish collaborative initiatives within their value networks through educational, technological and applied research offerings.

ANTONIO GALVAO
VP, Global Planning & Delivery, Johnson Diversey

Antonio Galvao is the Vice President of Global Planning & Delivery for JohnsonDiversey Inc, a leading global provider of commercial cleaning and hygiene solutions, serving customers in the lodging, food service, retail, health care and food and beverage sectors.  Antonio has more than 17 years of experience encompassing planning, logistics, sourcing, engineering, product portfolio management and marketing operations. In his current role, he is focusing on improving service performance to best in class standards around the world, optimizing cost structures and leading the development of a Global Sales and Operations Planning process.

JAMES R. KELLSO
Supply Chain Master, Intel

James Kellso is the Manager of Supply Network Research and Supply Chain Master for Intel. He is heavily involved in the strategies and supply chain aspects of the growth in new businesses, and supply chain optimization for Intel. Jim has over 35 years of experience in industrial engineering, consulting and logistics/supply chain management. He has managed all aspects of worldwide logistics including systems development and deployment, network construction, transportation management, engineering and business process development; and construction and startup of new integrated facilities worldwide.

JUHA PUTKIRANTA
Senior Vice President, Nokia

Juha Putkiranta currently serves as Senior Vice President for Nokia, where he heads the Demand Supply Network Management in the Markets Unit and is a member of the Markets Management Board.   With 20 years of experience in IT and telecommunications, Juha has been instrumental in facilitating Nokia's joint venture with Symbian and a strong driver of new technologies.  He has been with Nokia since 1997, during which time he has held various management positions including the head of Multimedia Computers Unit in Multimedia Business Group, head of the Imaging Business Unit, and Senior Vice President, Cellular Mobile Telephones unit at Nokia Mobile Phones.  

MAHENDER SINGH
Research Director, Supply Chain 2020, MIT-CTL

Dr. Mahender Singh is a Research Director for the MIT Supply Chain 2020 Project, a multi-year research effort looking into the future of logistics and supply chain management.  His research and teaching focus on operations and supply chain management, with particular interest in exploring the underlying structure of complex supply chains. He has taught Operations Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he received his Ph.D.; he is also a graduate of MIT-CTL’s Master of Engineering in Logistics Program.
