Bio:
Tom is President and co-founder of RSG, a firm that specializes in the application of state-of-the-art modeling and analytics to inform planning and strategy. His consulting projects have spanned all 50 U.S. states and 30 countries and have served a wide variety of federal, state and regional transportation agencies. He also serves as a market strategy consultant to numerous Fortune 100 companies. He is co-founder of the New England Transportation  Institute and serves on the Advisory Boards of the University of Vermont Transportation Research Center and the University of Minnesota Center for Excellence in Transportation Safety.

Tom has a S.M. and PhD in Transportation from MIT, from the days when travel demand modelers needed to spend all night in the computer center manipulating decks of computer punch cards. He was a professor at Dartmouth College for 10 years before becoming a fulltime consultant.
