Cansu Tayaksi is a Postdoctoral Associate at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics, where she supports the Supply Chain Management Blended Program. She has over six years of research experience in Operations Management in academia and has joined numerous national and European Union projects in Turkey as a researcher. In addition, Dr. Tayaksi is the founder of iDepo LLC, a startup company established with seed funds granted by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) with the objective of optimizing warehouse processes in small and medium enterprises with the usage of iBeacon technology.
Dr. Tayaksi collaborates with the MIT GeneSys Lab where she leads research projects that focus on increasing small business growth in developing countries by improving their efficiency and survival rates.
Cansu Tayaksi holds a B.Sc of Software Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with major in Operations Management from Izmir University of Economics, Turkey.
