Dr. Bo Li is an Assistant Professor at Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China (member of the MIT Global SCALE Network). Dr. Li received his PhD degree in Business Administration (with specialization in Operations and Supply Chain Management) from Texas A&M University in 2016. He also holds a master’s degree in manufacturing from MIT.
Dr. Li centers his research agenda on managing supply chain risks in areas such as oil & gas, retail, healthcare, and cloud services. Specifically, he investigates how behavioral, risk, and investment considerations can impact supply chain design. He has previously taught Operations Management at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University and worked at Schlumberger Inc. and KLA-Tencor Inc. as an industrial engineer. He serves as a reviewer for academic journals such as Service Science and academic conferences such as Decision Science Annual Conference.
